Halland News – Army Group B of the Hall Republic is in its second week of joint military exercises with Halland’s 13th Mechanized Infantry Division, according to officials overseeing the drills. The ongoing exercises are taking place across multiple training areas in southern Halland.
The Halland Military released an official photograph of the drills in progress. The photo shows a Hall Republic soldier calibrating a mobile surface-to-air missile (SAM) platform mounted on a small trailer. Military sources stated that the system is capable of engaging aerial threats with up to four interceptors simultaneously and is designed to counter both enemy aircraft and unmanned aerial systems. While the exact number of these platforms in the Hall Republic Army service has not been disclosed, the system is confirmed to be actively employed as part of the current exercise scenarios.
Air assets have played a prominent role throughout the drills. Hall Republic fighter jets and rotary-wing aircraft have been conducting coordinated operations in support of ground forces, simulating air-defense, close-support, and rapid-response missions as part of the exercise framework.
Due to the sensitive nature of the activities, Halland authorities have imposed strict security measures in the affected areas. Civilians are prohibited from photographing military aircraft, vehicles, equipment, or personnel. The Halland State Police warned that any individual observed attempting to document the exercises without authorization will face immediate arrest. Officials noted, however, that the drills are largely confined to remote locations, minimizing disruption to the general population.
Military
spokespeople emphasized that the exercises are routine and defensive in nature,
aimed at improving readiness and operational cooperation between allied forces
operating in the region.
