Well, it is that time of year again! College football is back! Along with high anxiety, panic, excitement, depression, uncertainty, just to name a few. Now that the dust has settled after week 1, I can almost place each of us in those emotional categories. I do have a question though. Will there be an overseas opening game every year? Asking for a friend and the relevance on playing overseas!
Friday got us started with two marquee matchups. Auburn traveled to Waco, Texas to take on the Bears of Baylor. Unlike last year, Auburn put on an impressive defensive and offensive performance under transfer quarterback Jackson Arnold. Can they contend in the SEC this year? Time will tell.
